Event Details

We’re going whale watching! The 3 hour dolphin and whale cruise from San Remo with Wildlife Coast Cruises is fantastic!

IMPORTANT- take seasickness tablets, even if you think you don’t need them. It’s a long trip if you’re sick. Trust me on this.

Wear: many layers. It gets cold outside on the boat, and you might need beanies and scarves. Sturdy footwear, we’ll be keeping our balance on wet decks.

Bring: It’s an awesome trip even without your camera, but if you’re shooting, bring your longest (telephoto) lens. monopods are OK, tripods are a trip risk, so don’t bring them.

Be prepared for anything. We’re dealing with nature. The cruises only cancel if it’s so rough they can’t see. I’ve been out on dead flat days and 5 metre waves. We might see breaching whales right next to the boat or we might see none. We -will- see lots of smelly seals at seal rocks and most likely also dolphins. Maybe even penguins.

Cost is $95 per person, payable to the club account ASAP.
